Kin is a software application that provides AI-assisted health coaching, habit tracking, and personalized suggestions. By using Kin, you agree to these terms.

Kin is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for a doctor, registered dietitian, therapist, or any licensed health professional. If you have a medical condition, take medication, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, or sleep based on anything Kin says.

If you're experiencing a medical emergency or mental health crisis, call your local emergency number or a crisis hotline immediately.

You must be 16 or older to use Kin. If you have a history of disordered eating or other conditions that may be affected by tracking food, please talk to a professional before using Kin.

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Use a real email address — we send important things there.

One account per person. Don't share accounts; don't create accounts on behalf of others without permission.

Use Kin for your own personal, non-commercial wellness journey. Log your data, chat with the AI, view your progress.

• Try to break or abuse the app — automated scraping, reverse-engineering, denial-of-service attempts.
• Submit content that's illegal, harassing, or attempts to manipulate the AI into harmful output.
• Use Kin's output to provide medical advice to other people.
• Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity.

Kin's coach is powered by an AI model (currently OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini). AI can be wrong, including confidently wrong. Treat its suggestions as suggestions — not prescriptions.

The AI is designed never to recommend extreme restriction, fasting beyond a meal, or unsafe rapid weight loss. If you ever feel coaching pushed you toward something unhealthy, please email us — we take it seriously.

Some features are part of Pro. Pricing is shown in the app before you commit. You can cancel anytime, but refunds aren't guaranteed for partial billing periods. Auto-Pro accounts (for invited users) carry the same rights and obligations.

You can delete your account at any time from the You page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that show signs of abuse. We'll do our best to notify you if it's not a security situation.

Kin is provided “as is.” We try our hardest to make it accurate, available, and safe, but we can't guarantee perfection. To the extent legally allowed, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent legally allowed, Kin is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, or for any loss exceeding what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — there, the limits apply to the maximum extent allowed.

If we change these terms in a material way, we'll email you. Continuing to use Kin after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Indonesia, unless local consumer protection law gives you a stronger right elsewhere.
